The Client

Istituto Marangoni is a private Italian school of fashion and design that began in Milan, and now with 9 schools across the world. At first, the school trained mainly pattern makers and seamstresses; in the 1970s and 1980s, it turned towards fashion design, product development, and marketing. They have nurtured emerging talent for over 80 years.

The Brief

We were commissioned to do a social media rebrand for the London branch which meant rethinking and creating all branded content to direct users to specific digital spaces.

Akou’s research for TFL covered over 25 year olds, they wanted to reach and hear the voices of a younger audience of 18 - 25 year olds. We were commissioned to create content to target a younger audience.

We started by creating text templates for social media arrangement with options for logo placement.

We presented different options for posts to highlight their alumni scheme, industry insiders, students, and events. Our choice of placement was to bring a more uniform approach to their social media. These formats were in 1:1, 4:3, and 19:6 for official posts and stories.
